We're here to help our community use technology responsibly and with confidence.
TAG, the Technology Awareness Group, was established by Gedolei Hador to help the Jewish community navigate today's complex digital world.
Digital technology is here to stay, and it's becoming more woven into the fabric of our daily lives. The goal isn't to pretend otherwise. It's to use technology responsibly, al pi Torah. That's the heart of what TAG does: raising awareness of the real problems and pitfalls, and providing practical guidance and tech support to put effective solutions in place.
Today there are more than 50 TAG offices across the world, each staffed by members of its own community.
Smart Connections NY is the TAG office serving Far Rockaway and the Five Towns. We live right here in the community we serve, so we understand its needs firsthand, because they're our needs too.
We've been helping local families with their technology for years. In that time we've seen just about every device, every setup, and every question a family can have, and we've learned that the best help is patient, practical, and never one-size-fits-all. Whether you're filtering your first phone or sorting out a whole household, you're in experienced hands.
Every family is different. We help you find what works for you, not tell you what's right.
Take your time. Ask questions. Come in when you're ready.
Straight answers and practical advice, even when something's simpler or cheaper than you expected.
What you set up and discuss with us stays between us.
Smart Connections NY is here to help, and donations from people who believe in what we do help keep it going. If you'd like to support our work, we're grateful.
